PUBG x Yle FTW

BYOC games for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS at Assembly Winter 2018 played on Fri-Sat, February 2-3, organized by Yle FTW.

This event has on-going free to play PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS custom games hosted by Yle FTW team on location at Assembly. New match will start roughly once an hour and people can hop in and fight in a game of battle royale, where the winner gets a chicken dinner!

• Format: New game every 40 or 60 minutes except during the night
• Match format: FPP only - Solos, duos, possibly squads

• Participation: Computer ticket NOT required. Matches also joinable from home.

How to participate

No Pre-Signup or Check-in is necessary. Matches will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Matches can be found on PUBG Custom Games listing, EU region, with game name PUBG x Yle FTW.
Match password will be shared in advance. In case of changes, the most recent password will be shared first via Discord.
Upcoming match starts will be announced on Discord.

Matches will be joinable also from home, but prizes can be delivered only to players at Messukeskus.

Prizes

Winner gets Dinner! The winner of every match wins a Chicken Dinner (or other meal of equal value) at Messukeskus Hesburger.
Match prize Chicken Dinners are available ONLY for players at the venue, redeemable with a voucher, given to the match winner(s).
Voucher is valid ONLY at Messukeskus Hesburger, ONLY during Assembly Winter event (2.-4.2.2018).

Limit of ONE Dinner per person per day. If you win twice, the next person will be awarded.

Schedule

Matches will run in a non-stop fashion, with new matches starting approximately once per hour, with only one match running at a time.
Upcoming matches will be announced on Discord. We recommend subscribing to push notifications from the PUBG match info channel.

General rules

These rules apply for all BYOC tournaments in Assembly Winter 2018.

• All participants agree to behave in an appropriate and respectful manner to preserve fair play and sportsmanship.
• All player names, pictures and team names must be appropriate and respectful.
• Failure to adhere to these rules or the game specific rules may lead to a warning or disqualification from the tournament to the player and/or the whole team.
• Administration of the tournament has the last word in any and all disputes and can make decisions outside the specified rules if needed.

Rules

Players are allowed to livestream their gameplay. However, to prevent stream sniping, all livestreams are required to have stream delay of 180 seconds or more.

Map for each match will be chosen at random. Map balance will follow results of a pre-event vote on social media.
